In framing the work of Vyacheslav Kalinin with his dynamic painting style, I created a frame design that has carved patterns in each corner. The patterns reference the theme of this painting titled “5 Senses”. The picture frame’s highly reflective surface, a water-gilded 23k gold leaf finish, enhances the plentiful colours and captures the complex narrative of the painting.
